"The blue and white flowers have 4 long, curled, protruding stamens. The lower lip is droooping and spotted. The flowers are 3/4 inch (18mm) long in pairs or 3's at the ends of the stems. The plants have spreading branches, opposite leaves, square stems and are about 2 feet (60cm) high. Along streams, fields, often indry or sandy soils. Scattered over the western half of the state.
