Pippa is a beauty !! ... Borders where always my favourite dogs ...before i started as dogtrainer ... now i do know more about dogs ... i think ... now my favourite is a Duck Toller Retriever ... Borders are to nervous for me !! :-)

Just googgled that breed of dog Hans, I can see why it is your favourite.....they are beautiful looking! I know what you mean about the border collie appearing nervy.....they are beautiful and very intelligent but for me it has to be the staffy at the top of my list! :-)

iff you have enough time to work with a border, they sure are great dogs ... i have seen them at work in South Africa with sheeps !!
a good Staffy is adorable ...can be very friendly dogs ... but not for agility .. and thats my thing !! ... we have our Jack Russell ... 12 years old now and stil going strong !! :-)

So adorable.. she is marked like my aussie Rusty. Borders are definitely a high maintenance, I had one and think I like the aussie's better they are a little more laid back. Of course each dog has their own personality within a breed.
