The Tragic Tale of Zamanat Abbas Rizvi

We always crib about bad people in the world, we always crib when we get a tiny pimple and it wont go, staring at us rebelliously from the mirror..
We are human , we err and yet are million miles away from divinity...
I was standing above from a single storey house and shooting the arrival of the Athvi Amary juloos into this lane , i had shot from this house a few years back too, my eyes fell on thi disabled Shia kid , with the mark of his kama matam on his short cropped hair.
He looked at me and I have never met him before , I clicked this picture..but it was Cassim Hallauri who climbed up the stairs to tell me a tragic tale .. of Zamanat Abbbas Rizvi..

Zamanat Abbas Rizvi from Govandi had done the kama matam on Ashura day this year and was returning home by train, he fell of the train at Kurla station, and the train sped over his legs taking it along with the wheels..he was dragged too..

Cassim told me he was bought to the hospital by 5 burkha clad ladies , none his relatives , perhaps Shia he did not know, they lodged a police complaint had him hospitalized , got him blood, expensive medicines and just disappeared.
His parents found him the next day.

The lady standing away from him is hs mother watching and praying for the safety of her son.. she did not want to be photographed either..

I did not talk to him, as there was hardly any time but I had decided I would write his story when I came to his picture while posting..

Cassim also told me he was conscious inspite of losing both his legs, and had told the doctors at the hospital, to do anything they wanted , but no to put stitches on his head wound as it would heal automatically...

So there are good people , complete strangers who come help and disappear without their name or their identities..

This is Mumbai and good samaritans are everywhere like angels but only you cant see them..

We can never have enough of those angels...

Incredible story of hardship and yet he seems so brave in his expression.
