Nedkovich House. Each and every feature of this remarkable home belonging to the Revival Epoch and built in 1863 follows the style of European classicism. Yet, some foreign explorers have a good reason for considering the building to resemble an Italian Palaco of the Rennaissance epoch. Its owner is the famous merchant and eminent social worker of that time, Nikola Nedkovich. The richly decorated façade of the house has an imposing4-column portico with round arches. Most outstanding in the inside are the symmetrically built rooms with geometrically ornamented ceilings and richly painted walls. The rooms to the yard show landscapes with views of different European cities. Today the house of Nedkovich is furnished as an exposition of an antique city type, representing the inside arrangement of rich Plovdiv homes from the 19th century. Among other things it contains furniture and personal belongings of the Nedkovich family.
