With the heat here, the frozen area helps to cool the temperature here.. Wonderful nataural framing and I like the configuration in the subject...

love the vertical lines of the boats in the background along with the vertical ice... as usual though, i must ask... what are we looking at/through, with the ice so thick around it??

hi peter, the slight angle to the horizon does give it the 'on the water' effect now that you mention it. it's really an interesting photo.
