Massimo, our gracious host at a bed and breakfast we stayed at in Rome took us on a short site seeing tour on our way to the train station to a secret garden behind ancient Rome. He was telling us this is one of the oldest structures where traders did buisness under the shade of this building.
Not sure of the name....

What a wonderful host...and this is a magnificent photo. How nice to visit places not seen by most tourists. Great structure and notes... wonderful light and contrasts captured and love the details
