Words of thanksgiving for all russian heroes fallen for our liberty

They,eagles of northen skies,children of the Great Russian land
inspired from the goddess of the humanity,justice and freedom-
leaded from the genius of Victory flit across the lands,forests and seas
and came on the beautiful and proud Balkans-here in enslaved from
centuries bulgarian land.
They stabed on their bayonets the turkish tiranny.
With the sharp blade of their swords they broke the chains of the slavery
And with their cannons razed to the ground the five centuries fortress of slavery.
In the bloody battle in our lands selflessness they shed their blood
leaving their bones on brother's land for the freedom and prosperity
of the Bulgarian nation forgotten from centuries,from tsars and gods.
As sign of deep appreciation and high thankfulness the free Bulgarian
nation built this memorial of freedom grown up from the depth of the soul as violet in the forest.
