Lamington National Park. On the day before I flew home, my friend took me to a place called Lamington National Park. It has a forest feature at the top where there are different types of plants to look at and different types of animals to try and spot.
These next series of photos is of the birds that you can feed. You buy the seed at a shop nearby, then you stand in the area where where the birds sit in the trees. You then strech out your arm, making sure you have the seed in the palm of your handand wait until one of the birds lands on your arm or hand to feed. The birdsthat were there were Rosella's and the other type I was told were King Parrots.
Beautiful birds with the best of personalities. They were very gentle when they were eating and never got agitated. At one stage I had 2 sitting on my head and 2 on my shoulder having an argument as to which one was going to have a meal from my hand. A wonderful experience.
