Today it was a public holiday here in Otago, so I went out for another photographic field trip. I ended up at a place called Victory Beach. It is accessible via "The Pyramids" that that Shirley(TeddyBear2) and I have posted recently. There is a wreck of a steamship called Victory(hence the name of the beach) there as well as Hooker sealions and yelloweyed penguins. I was lucky enough to capture some shots of the local wildlife which I hope you all will enjoy. I would have been there longer just watching the sea lions but the tide was coming in and I would not have been able to stay where I was.

I sure did Marg. I love getting out in the fresh air. It was a good walk to get to where I was as well. A good healthy day out. :-)

I have the feeling this one is thinking, "just a little bit closer you sap and I'll have you"; or words to that effect. :-)

Were you holding your nose as you took these captures Robin; they haven't the best of hygiene, strange for something that swims in water all the time.

Surprisingly enough there was no smell that I could talk of. I know what you mean though. I think if it had been a lot hotter then there might have been an odour about.

What are you doing still up at this time on a school night for? :-)
