im proud of this for one reason she was running and i thought it would be so blurred ... first real go at a moving object ( shannon ) bet if it was a train or car it would of been blurred off to the trainstation i go ha ha :-)))
you cant fail with this kind of subject Nic and its one to be proud of!!...may be a tad more contrast in your B&W shots would bring out some detail. Only a thought on my part. Hope you don't mind me saying that.

shutter speeds dont mean much to me yet peter ive learnt a little but not much yet so with what you have said if i have a higher shutter speed and good light that should stop the moving subject from blurring and thank you x
Fabulous image Nicola. With moving subjects, if they are coming towards the camera as long as you have focused right you should rarely have a prob, unless it's a jet plane! if they are moving diagonally accross the frame it's gets harder, if you are shooting side on, then you really need to be on the ball to get it right. Head off to that train station and paractice:-)
