Hari Raya Puasa is a joyous occasion celebrated by the Muslims after fasting for 1 month during Ramadhan. In the multi-racial society of Singapore, this happy occasion is shared not only within the Muslim community but also the non-Muslims. Being a Malay Muslim in Singapore, I managed to capture this photo (having nothing better to do!) while waiting for arrival of the guests to my house. Kuih is a Malay word for pastries, biscuits and stuff. The main focus is on "kuih tat", basically a tart. Posing at the foreground is Mr Potato Chips and on the left is Miss Popiah (mini spring roll).
