I Robot, or pretty close to it! Just some of the hardware that makes Shaylans life more ejnoyable. She found the check up visit and the x-ray pretty amusing :)
Her spine was curving due to her cerebral palsy and compromised one of her lungs. The surgery was done to awoid respiratory problems and also the help her sit better.
Technology has done so much to help her plus Shaylan's great
confidence & fighting spirit I only can offer my best wishes in her
daily increating joy and happiness, given the big contraints and
odds confronting her. Best regards to Misschalie52 & Shaylan.
Thank you losp for all you good wishes for us! But don't worry - we are both very happy and contend.
Have a great week with sunshine, joy and laughter!
I love her, like I say before... true inspiration.... i see people who have nothing to really concern them in life and they could never be as happy and smile so fuul of life like she does... shameful
thank you for adding these pictures... after seeing them her smile shines even brighter in my heart now than before x
i feel so blessed to have had a child like this in my life at one time
you learn SO MUCH from them.... she is a blessing misscharlie52... but then you know that ;-)
Ugh...
As someone who hasnīt had his health (so to speak) for the last 20 years (since I was 20 years old), I have nothing but good wishes for her.
Best wishes to you both from Iceland :-)

Also, itīs strange perhaps, but strictly aesthetically speaking, this picture actually looks rather good...
(Itīs maybe best right before you realize just what it is).
Kind of strange, isnīt it :-)
