Yes they still do the bullfights in this Plaza de Toros....
I've not been to a bullfight while we have been living here, but I did go to one some years ago in Marbella.
I always thought I would hate it, but in fact I didn't! I had been reading up on the whole thing and so understood what was going on more than most Geri's would do.
It's quite an art form with many rules to be followed, if the crowd think the matador is not behaving correctly they will let him know in no uncertain terms.
It's still cruel... but not as bad as some would have you believe. It is a part of the Spanish culture and tradition, so we as foreigners don't have the right to judge, especially as they see the way we in both the UK and America treat our old people as inhuman.
