Some people here don't believe when I say I've seen the lakes here full of water before....this is a photo from about ten years ago....the last time the lakes here were full. :-))

This is one of the three lakes near our home that you can see on Google Earth. They supply the drinking water to Malaga and the towns on the coast, after four years of drought we have had so much rain this winter that if we get no more there is enough water to last for twelve months.
I just hope they don't waste it.... ;-)
It is lovely to see the lake full. I keep meaning to head north to check out Lake Shasta. It's so low it's pathetic. One of the bridges has a sign that says "Lake Shasta" and you are going over a trickle of a stream. We did get some decent rain the last week though so I am hoping that it's starting to fill up.
