I agree swallows are not that easy ... fantastic image Meg :))

They are the same here Denise, always darting about....except just after sunrise as they sit on this power cable above the olive and orange trees just waiting for the insects to take flight as the sun reaches the treetops.
There were eight swallows in total sat there....I'll post another shot later. :-)

I find it hard to get shots of them at any other time Nancy....this is the only time of day when they sit still enough! :-))

My weekend has been....very long.

I've been going to the heath centre 7kms away for injections for the arthritis in my hip...it's Fiesta week here so it's holiday time even for the medical staff, so I've had to use the emergency dept and have had to be there for eight am every day.

It's a long time since I've seen so many sunrises in one week!!!!! :-))
