I was in america when huuricane Andrew came in and i stayed up through uk's bad October storm in the 80's .. quiet scarey, but somehow a buzz too ..lol
hope you dont get many more meg ... its the climate changes i guess

No I don't think so Gary.....
I've never been right beneath the eye of the storm before, but over the last twenty year we have been in some very spectacular storms here in Spain.
We have had roads washed away in front of us, hail stones so large they dented cars and in some places they have had to knock down sea walls to let the water out.
The climate has always changed, we just were not here to see and record it. :-)

I see..... i hope your house is ok then and stays that way too meg, sounds amazing though to witness these things
