Last June 21, our province was hit by a typhoon lasting to more than 17 hours and brought about so many hundreds of deaths in our province alone (a passenger vessel sunk in another part of the country), hundreds still missing and thousands homeless. These are scenes I was able to take shots of.

So sorry for the blurry shots 'cause I was inside the car when I took these pictures.

Yes, it is! Makes us realize that when Mother Nature strikes there's really no rich or poor. I still have some pictures left and will upload them maybe tomorrow.

Have a nice day, aquiles!

Yes, they are, Peter! I wouldn't be able to take those shots if I were in the photographer's place 'cause I'll be in tears.

Sadness everywhere........Tyfoons, earthquakes, floods, nature can be so cruel for mankind........

yes, lensvision! It was really the first time it happened in such magnitude! Some schools are still having no class because it's still full of mud and the city has asked for the assistance of volunteer fire brigades to clean up the mess.

Come to think of it, there's a saying "What goes around comes around." Maybe this is because of the irresponsibility of people: illegal logging, irresponsible throwing of garbage, etc. All these caused flash floods!

Yes, Riet! Perhaps there' s something which Mother Nature wants to tell us...
