yes it is a cardinal and his wife has her nest in the bush by my gate...I can peep in and see her on the nest...but my camera cannot see what I see....I love birds and I truly detest that I can't get GREAT close-ups of them

I, myself almost knew nothing about birds except they are cute. There're 5 kinds of birds live around my home; House sparrow, Bulbuls, Sunbird, Oriental Magpie Robin, Zebra Dove and Myna. I've never get any pic of Oriental Magpie Robin, Zebra Dove and Myna and my compact cam can't see what I see as well. ;))

that's great Poulet...you have some interesting birds...I see all sorts of birds but I have no idea what they are.....the only ones I know are the blue jays, sparrows, and cardinals
