Thank you Sider....The present church building was completed in 1792.....the church was reoriented in 1849 to what you see today....During the Civil war the church was used as a slaughterhouse and the churchyard as a corral. The Midway church was abandoned and stopped holding services after this....but The Midway Church celebrates Homecoming every year by inviting descendants to attend church and lunch on the grounds the last Sunday in April...The church has never been modernized..
