I love birds....I provide food and water for them...you'd think they could show some gratitude and pose for me....but no such luck...so I dug this old vulture shot up to post for birdfriday....I like the ole vulture because he posed for me : ))

I love this action - they call it "mantelling" (like a mantel piece) when they cover up their prey to guard it from other birds.
