HI Thor, the views in the lakes never fail to be impressive, it is so beautiful up there. Yes I'm fine and enjoying a long weekend, and you?

As you'll see I just spent a week in Rome - I got back last Monday - unfortunately on Wednesday I got something which I think is the Norwalk virus and have felt pretty rotten since. Gradually recovering but fear I will spend most of this B/H weekend indoors.

Good question... Never really questioned it before but It runs through the field down to the water. I guess to stop the sheep/cows from paddling out and round!! Not and uncommon sight in the Lakes..... :-)))
