Never seen a flowering leek before..

I will look with more respect when next time leek is on my plate - lovely :)

lensvision, it is not the meaning that it is flowering, it only does if you don't eat it in time :)

they are flowering before the beans are there....so they are not going to bloom :))

it's just made me think to be with eating some veggies from my garden on time... I have the flowering lettuce now :)

whatisee: it is the same family I think.....the allium family....looks indeed very much like each other :) I try to make one more when the flowers are opened, it is not in my garden, but in one of my neighbour's so maybe I forget to to so :)
