Hans if you ever go there , travel true Valley of the Gods road and take all side trails ( if you can in your 4x4) so many magnificent spots you will see what not many know

Chad /Libya /Sudan have all most the same rock formation , other choice it will be China in boarder of Mongolia - that what nice to see ones in a life ( too bad it very far from civilization and only mother nature stone formation there , beautiful like in Mace or from outer of space but so far from anything ale ...)
That why USA better , in several hours of driving so many magnificent areas what concentrate in one state. Well take California Utah Arizona Colorado and it take you half a year see all beauty's
