Funny thing is - he didn't look at all spooky on the summer day when I took the photo, but when I was looking through my pics for an entry for today he sort of 'loomed' out of the screen at me - double spooky or what????

Ruth, there are a few in that park - one they've turned into a seat and there are several others dotted about. As you say, far better and more interesting than just chopping the tree right down!
