It's a lovely building isn't it Sylvia - designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin who also designed the interior of The Houses of Parliament.

I love this richly decorated chapel inside the cathedral - not a great photo though! http://www.dumpt.com/img/viewer.php?file=igp06odbfi0ggzqc5zxj.jpg (I took it on our wedding anniversary while visiting Nottm in 2009)

You look georgeous in that dress. Good entry. My father came from Nottingham so it is always interesting to see some of its buildings etc. I have never been.

Thanks Lizzie - I don't think you can tell from the photo that my dress was made VERY cheaply (only about £20 in total - we were very poor!).

You must try to get to Nottingham it's a very underrated city with some wonderful buildings and other things to see - If you ever get the chance to go, I wrote an article here about how to see Nottingham in a day :) http://hubpages.com/hub/What-to-do-in-Nottingham-in-a-day
