2/12 .. Fishing village making way for commercial development.
Yet, this Muslim gentleman still went for Friday prayer at nearby
mosque on 4-07-2008 .. Best to see the photo in full size.

surrounded by remains after demolition. Please go back 3 photos
to the one with FT # 2010 = the demolition of the fishing village
on 3-07-2008 for commercial development.

Tom33 .. THANKS for the very kind comments. His home
was demolished last night and he was looking at his remaining,
household items (few & simple) some 10 metres away, lying
under some coconut palms. Looking for another alternative living
place is very tough for poor guy like him !

shame on any government that allows the destruction of people's living quarters without providing new lodgings. the developers should have been made to build first their new homes, before tearing down the old ones.
