jceca .. I am lazy and I use Auto Enhance often, especially when
the colors come out beautiful to my eyes :o) .. To me, the White
Balance and the shooting mode and the scenic composition do
affect use of Auto Enhance in Canon-bundled software.
Wonderful tone & great perspective of this beautiful Island! Perhaps if u can furnish us with her awesome underwater beauties................ Jacque Custeau wld be proud too!
Many thanks for your very kind comments & compliments, which
make me dig deeper on this photo's strong and weak points. Honestly,
that is my 2nd day in practising my Manual shooting + inclusion of
depth of field + in dim lights. I happened to select this area for testing
out many shots (on my mind and my fingers, it's all about ISO, aperture,
shutter speed, metering & white balance => forgetting shot composition,
use of tripod & camera's flash etc). Then, I tried with Auto Enhance, hoping
to have good color tone pleasant to my eyes. It looked good; so I selected
it. .. May be it's beginner's luck in such practice + my common sense and
what I feel good about + patience in practice.
