Thanks for your prayer for these 96 (50 boys and 46 girls with age 6 to 18 .. some 25 orphans and the rest all from broken/wretched families. Each carries a tragic tale inside his/her heart (I don't dare even to ask any such personal background information) ... Allow me to expres my response ( forgive me if I sometimes go a bit beyond noraml PR practices). I don't mean to show off or breed poor/ill intent because my writing might sound like it. Why? I rush in my thinking and writing + a very bad habit of not re-checking what I've written (I got nasty experiences becaus of such bad habit of mine).

Yes, Borther Ben, a Dutch brother of RC Church .. on 4th April 2006, a big celebration was given to him: he has 50 years of service in this rural Kundasang .. honestly, in term of contribution of HIS service, I'm like a hair in his head. ... That's why I am doing that very tiny I can to tinily lessen his heavy burdens (imagine those 50 years of toils, pains, sacrifices all for God and for HIS children, especially those orphans) ... Pray for Brother Ben please.

Sorry, no re-checking the above writing. More of HIS blessings upon you and other family members .. from losp.

Sorry. Allow to add some more comments. Very un-PR of me !!

See next group photo .. can you spot Sister Leonie, a local native from Penampang, adjacent to Kota Kinabalu, state capital of Sabah ? 3rd row from the front .. (very difficult to describe well as the photo is somewhere else and not in this page) .. the 1st lady on the right side (viewing from front) .. in deep blue dress (only her head and a little portion of her shoulders are seen) .. I think Sister Leonie is in her 40s (not fair for me to ask her or to find out) .. she really disciplines these kids in religious traditions, in normal Malaysian eduction, in manners etc (she is the main action force. Why? Brother has to look after the Bundu Tuhan Church activities and all its infrastructures and facilities) .. she sometimes eats the same foods as these DBCH kids .. in my help-contac with her, I find another marvelous character

Look at those solemn faces in the photo, including Brother Ben and Sister Leonie .. I keep on stressing to those kids (sad to say they have poor IQ and it is a fact): always carry a smiling face; God loves each one you and HE is always with you; study and work hard/smart) .. 96 of them: daily basis on shelter, foods and drinks, health, education, clothings, operating & maintenance costs in buildings and other assets/fixtures (on 1-acre land) + all those monthly bills ... 100% donations in kind and in cash from the general public .. honestly, to me, this is a already a miracle .. and one has to be there to see it, then one inclines more to believe it (yes, words from the big mouth of a non-Christian losp; and I often feel I am a hypocritical one and who would believe losp? Thanks God, so far, Brother Ben, Sister Leonie and most of these kids do accept my little helping hands/ways, like in raising donations, in teaching the relevant kids in English, Maths, PC applications and economics. God often works in HIS mysterious ways, doesn't HE? .. I often find it tough going but my patience and perserverence means extra opportunities for these poor, unfortunate kids of God. I work on such line of thinking. Brother Ben and Sister Ben have together some 70 years of practical experience in Kundasang religious/charity works .. I am learning from Brother and Sister and from all these 96 kids !!)

Sorry for being long-winded and blah blah blah .. please tell me what to say and write and when to stop. Thanks. God bless all of you in the family .. losp

Note: no proper re-checking above write up .. excuse my poor habit .. God grant me more strength !

Allow me to tell you more on those people in the photo: (i) Brother Ben (78?) is Dutch + already 50 years in Kundasang to do God's duties + he is still very active and energetic + more hardworking, dedicated Brother (for the local church and the next door Orphanage) .. (ii) the Japanese Uni graduate (in chemistry) with the hibiscus flower (our Malaysian national flower) is a guest of the Orphanage .. (iii) the kids (96 = 50 boys + 46 girls aged from 6 to 18) are of various races and tribes (some 35 in Sabah alone): there in the photos = Kadazan, Dusun, Chinese, Mixed .. they are very disciplined here + shelter, foods, drinks, health items, education etc are all OK. .. You can see Sister Leonie and other kids in other photos posted in fotothing site.

Hope you like to read this info stated above. Thanks ... from losp

... what I missed in my last message ... Yes, Ghandi is one of my top mentors: why? Brother, love, peace and no hatred, no war, no violence .. no foreign intervention .. urine for health .. spinning his own cloth (self-sufficiency) .. his fighting and suffering days in S Africa .. his most simple life from worst times to his greatest time in success: freeing India and being founder of independent modern Inida ... losp

Outstanding picture.

Yes, those kids are outstanding .. all due to Brother Ben and Sister Leonie = having given so much, and so much more to be given in coming days, weeks and years ... Look at BB's facial composition : results of toils, pains vs HIS joys .. his mind is great and still very alert + his heart most soft, serence, caring, sympathetic, forgiving, loving, 100%-God-inclined + his mouth always wanting to ask and learn new things + his ears are all patient listening + his eyes are soft but most penetrating ... blah-blah-blah and God bless .. from losp

sikobonden .. THANKS .. Brother Ben is the one wearing glasses.
The lady holding the red hibiscus flower is a Japanese graduate
in Chemistry (I took her to visit the orphanage and to mix with
them sharing her experience on Japan, esp to the girls there ..
language barrier is a problem => broken English and language
signs, symbols and drawings) .. Yes, they are a happly lot under
RC mission's care. Best wishes to you. ~~
