Finally - a momentary break in the rain, long enough to get across the street, carefully stepping around most of the very wet brick sidewalk filled with water; not exactly a perfect time to wear my new $5 satin shoes, yes really only $5, vain and thrifty, haha.

Still I managed to get in the middle of a great puddle; I already had my phone in hand and was actually trying to get the ripples around my foot but wasn't fast enough. Once i saw the shiny leaf in the clear stillness, I knew I still found a great reflection of the black metal lamp posts all throughout downtown Portland.

Cheerios to all my worldly friends!! I've missed you all; been to the coast several weekends, had a house guest, now heading to the San Francisco Bay Area this afternoon for four days of sunshine. But for now, cool, wet and breezy regards from Stephie in the Pacific Northwest ~~~
