Imagine if you will... vast stretches of desert and sky with distant mountains, brown adobe houses with flat roofs, strangely shaped cactus plants, pale, delicate sunrises, vibrant and exotic sunsets, then you have seen in your mind's eye the other 1148 (okay148) photos I took while in Albuquerque.

But what is the best part of any city, the heart and personality of that city... its people of course! Albuquerque has a very diverse population, including Mexicans and American Indians, and best of all, COWBOYS, of every age, size, and race. Boots and hats adorn 8 out of 10 males no matter where you are, from zoo to airport, with jeans, shorts, even track pants.

Adios, New Mexico ~~~ (p.s. For those who asked, no I did not win any money when in Las Vegas and I missed my return flight - a whole other story - so went through Phoenix instead and didn't get another chance, sigh.)
