Yes Peter, it really is, but only 8000 sq.ft. of living area! I knew what you meant by imposant. I once considered buying this house, but did not think I could afford to maintain it. A wealthy attorney (barrister) from Tallahassee eventually made the purchase and spent a pile of money on it (restoration). The house was built in the 1800's, which is old by Florida standards.....fairly new by Dutch standards I imagine.

That brick wall is fairly new Patrick.....no upkeep on that for many years. Actually, the house was restored about 12 years ago, at a very great expense.
