Thank you Litz. It's the best HDR (high dynamic range) software I've seen....for my limited skills at manipulation of original photos. It is my understanding that the software works best with three or more photos which include the extreme high and low EV values. My camera will only bracket three at one time. Although the software will align the different photos, it is best to use a tripod.
wow...what will they think of next to amaze me with, I'm still very much in awe over the digital camera and yet more and more awesome things keep being created...you are the coolest Larry and I truly appreciate your desire to step into the waters of learning and wade down a little bit deeper while most of us just stand on the shore with our mouth opened in amazement : ))
Thank you Nancy. Heck....I'm still amazed that I can make telephone calls to anywhere, from anywhere! The present technology and the infinite possibilites of future technologies boggle the mind.
The difference in these photos is like night and day! The details of the columns and the sculpture, the houses are more distinct and have depth, and the waves on the sea are SOOOO much clearer! This makes the difference between a photo you would say "that's nice" to one that you can't take your eyes off for all the findings. Great job, Larry!
Thank you HQN. All the information was already in Charlotte's photo. Was fun to bring out the shadows and highlights for more detail. Photo manipulation is something new to me. I have learned so much here on FT.
This is not my picture (the original) Lusofona. Charlotte allowed me to experiment with the "Dynamic Photo HDR" software on her picture. I agree that Chalotte's compostion was fantastic.
