Heck if I know the name of this butterfly. Probably Zebra something or other. Not a terrific quality photo, but I felt lucky to catch this fast moving 'flutterby.' I don't see many of this type where I live, although I have seen them before, they don't seem so common as the orange colored Gulf Fritillaries.

I believe you got a better capture Peter.....better details, anyway! I've really been disappointed with the Leica lens on my Panasonic FZ50.....especially since i bought it for the lens. My Olympus camera is much better at capturing detail....sharp and crisp.
