Larry, Someone Shrink Your Camera - Cool Looking Little House ;-)

Yes Bill, I'm thinking of dusting off the camera again this winter and doing a tour of Quincy Florida. There are so many really beautiful homes here, built at a time when tobacco was king and cigar wrappers were grown under cheese-cloth to shade it from the intense Florida sun. Whitel Owl, Dutch Masters, King Edward were just some of the cigar companies that made the trip to Quincy Florida to buy the best wrappers....that outer leaf.

Howard, this house is actually a good long way from the street....my cheap camera just didn't communicate that idea very well.

Thanks Liz. Although these houses, except for the first one posted, are on my street, they are closer to the downtown area, whereas, I live a kilometer from the town square where the houses are newer and less attractive (for my taste!).

That's what it is to me Frank. I grew up in a climate with long winters and overcast skies for what seemed like months at a time. I've lived in this small little Florida town for a little over half of this lifetime and I can tell you that I'm conscious of being thankful for my good luck of having this place find me. The people are nice and friendly, most everything is manicured nicely and the weather is predictably wonderful over 300 days per year. The cost of living is fairly low and I have a great job here. Everyone should be so fortunate. Thanks for reminding me about how good I have it.:-)
