Most of the Azaleas on my property are of the five petal variety. It just dawned on me today that this one must be a double petal type. You might think I would have observed this many years ago, but until this morning, I just never thought about it. These blooms are not as large in diameter as the big bush flowers and not as 'bright' either, but they photograph better....in my opinion!
