I'm watching over a friends birds and cats while he is healing from surgery. I shot this picture this morning at his farm. Too bad the post is in the photo. It is one of two tall post supporting a roost pole about 10 feet off the ground. On second thought, it was yesterday that I shot the photo (I think!!)

It is a great shot Larry, this bird in white is so beautiful! Looks like a bride, a dream of girls, to be a bride every day in your life :-))

Nancy, I don't think the God you are speaking of has eyes!!!! :-))) Just jerking your chain! We, on the other hand as individual expressions of "The Oneness" do have eyes and so................

Günter, this, believe it or not, is not actually an albino. Dark eyes! I guess most of us naturally think Albino when we see an animal with white hair or feathers. I know I do.

Jo, I watched this bird grow up from a hatchling and have been close to it a lot and it, nor the other Peacocks in the Aviary have ever been aggressive towards me and for that, I am thankful. They're big birds!

Thank you Barbara. There is 5 peafowl in the Aviary....all gorgeous birds. This morning I noticed lots of scattered tail feathers in the previous Aviary and a tunnel that a Fox had dug under the fence, despite an electric 'hot wire' surrounding the enclosure and wire on the ground on the inside of the fence as well. They just don't give up I guess.

Bea, I agree that this might remind girls of a wedding gown/dress. I had no idea that women dream of being a bride so much.

thats all they dream of ;-))) oh oh, now i lost even more friends.

why don't we really disillusion her, it is only the males that wear this great gown

Günter, we have a similar sense of humor.....it can get us in "hot water" sometimes. :-)))
