The Sant seeing the Guru's regal splendor and armaments expressed doubts-"An heir to the seat of Guru Nanak, the ascetic ?"The Guru convinced him, he spoke "Words do not make one an ascetic as a disguise can not make one rich. Weapons are for the protection of poor and splendor of valiants".
