The window commerates St Alfege who was Archbishop of Canterbury. He was slain by the Vikings after their ramson demands were not met. The present church dates back to the 1712 & was designed by Nicohlas Hawkesmore a pupil of Sir Christopher Wren. King Henry VIII was baptised here,his sister Mary Queen dowager of France married here second husband Charles Brandon-Duke of Suffolk here. Thomas Taliss Gentlemen of the Royal Chapel, (Composer) is buried here. He taught the Royal Tudor princesses Mary & Elizabeth music.General Wolf hero (or some of may think villan) of Quebec is buried in the vaults.
