This is the famous "Hallgrímskirkja" wich towers over downtown Reykjavík
(i.e.: Hallgrím's church).

Hallgrímur Pétursson
(i.e.: Hallgrim, son of Peter)
, was one of Iceland's most famous poets, -and composed (amongst other things) the national anthem of Iceland.
(Wich is in fact a hymn).
