A view of the famous "Hallgrímskirkja" (Hallgrím's church), from my balcony.

The building in the foreground is a part of "Iðnskólinn". (The trade school). (Where you can learn how to be a mechanic, a photographer, a woodworker, a plumber, etc, etc, etc.)

,was one of Iceland's most famous poets, -and composed (amongst other things) the national anthem of Iceland. (Wich is in fact a hymn).

The national anthem was written by Matthías Jochumsson and the music by Sveinbjörns Sveinbjörnsson
