Cool shot! It's amazing to see people so close to it. Ya couldn't that close to ones I saw in Yellowstone.(A ten hour drive from here) As a matter of fact you weren't allowed to tread within a hundred yards of of an active caldera zone.
Glad you posted this shot. I've heard of the Geyers of Iceland but had never seen pics of them.
The only other place in the world where impressive geyers exist is in Russia's Kamchactka peninsula...Very cool post.
Sider: Well, it´s definitely a very interesting place to see. But it is in a somewhat remote part of the country, so it´s not overcrowded with tourists or anything ;-D
