Hi all!
(With a special nod to hans55. I´m sure you´ll like this one) ;-)

So...I have been away from Fotothing for quite a while. -I´m going to have to do something about that! :-D I´m going to add a few more of the slides, taken by my stepdad in the late 1960's. He is the pilot looking up at the engine. (A Wright Cyclone, I believe).

Icelandair (Flugfélag Íslands in those days) sometimes flew to the
extremely rugged and remote
east coast of Greenland with these ski equipped Douglas DC-3 -s and landed on the sea-ice!
