Well congratulations to Curiosity for landing without a splat :)
Will this machine gives us some answers to the mystery of this strange planet, will it one day be replaced by humans, brave enough to venture that far? or have we already been there, was this once a thriving life filled planet that humans used up and wore out. The earth takes a battering from us, will it one day be like Mars, barren and empty. I would love all the answers to the universe, but then I would miss the mystery of it. Maybe the universe is a graveyard for planets ravaged by species too wrapped up in their own needs to cherish the land they walked on. Suffocating it in concrete, wiping out forests, poisoning the air with polution, Will Curiosity beam back info that tells us that we must change our ways before it is too late.
The real question is, if it did, would we even listen.
