This is Shadow, one of our snakes. He is curled up with Felix, our female Python. She is much bigger than him even though they are the same age, because she eats every week, while shadow only eats about once a month.
This is a common eating problem with pythons, but as long as they are healthy apparently it is OK.
Royal Pythons are great to keep as pets due to their nice nature, they never bite and they love human company.
