The Tonawanda creek winds through Genesee county. Before they did all the cosmetic work on the banks (shoring them up, etc) this area was much rockier and not a bad place to fish. I have yet to catch anything besides perch in the creek.

Hadn't thought of it that way; I just wander around and take pictures of whatever takes my fancy. Cheap entertainment if you will (discounting the cost of the camera, memory stics, tripod, bag, batteries, etc. ad nauseum).
