Badlands National Park series (full size is highly recommended)

We have viewed the Badlands from the high plateau and have made our way down into the rugged terrain to get a totally different view.
It is now time to strap on the camera gear backpack and attempt to hike to the top of some peaks.
Here we are on the steep Castle trail, which is a 5.0 mi / 8.0 km fairly strenuous hike. Not heavily used, the Castle Trail offers a chance for solitude and wildlife viewing.
