After a good night sleep in the lodge, we hike the next morning into the Roughlock Falls area. The trail into the area starts from the parking lot of the hotel, and leads into another spectacular area of the Spearfish Canyon.

Roughlock Falls is billed as one of the Black Hills most beautiful spots and was the set for the last scenes of “Dances with Wolves”.
