The Slough Creek Trail

Beginning in the Lamar Valley of the park's northeast corner, the Slough Creek Trail took us through some of the best wildlife habitat in the park. One can see elk, bison, trumpeter swans, sometimes grizzly bears, and now wolves that have quite happily taken up residence among abundant prey.
