CN Tower

We are now at the Sky Pod, the hightest accessible point of the tower.
In order to get here, we left the observation level in a special Sky Pod elevator and soared another amazing 33 storeys.
We are now at the 447 metre (1465 ft.) height, and from here we can see an awe-inspiring 360 degree unobstructed view of Toronto, Lake Ontario, and surrounding region.
Visibility is over 160 kilometres (one hundred miles), and on a clear day
it's not unusual to see Niagara Falls or Rochester, New York.

This sky pod level is in "open air" and not glass enclosed as any enclosures would interfere with the communication equipment that is located on this level.
For safety, a wire mesh runs around the pod.

The CN Tower at 553.33 meters (1,815 ft., 5 inches) was once the tallest building, tower, and freestanding structure, but as of 2010 retains the title of world's tallest tower.
