Of course we visted Rogers Centre, formerly known as The Skydome, and watched a baseball game between The Toronto Blue Jays and the Kansas City Royals.

Rogers Centre, formerly known as The Skydome, is recognized as one of the world's premiere entertainment centres, which since its opening, has achieved the highest honors in the stadium entertainment industry.
Over 2,000 events have been staged and more than 50 million people have visited Rogers Centre - famous the world over for its fully retractable roof. For four consecutive years, the facility received the "Stadium of the Year Award" voted by Billboard, Amusement Business and Performance Magazine.
Roger Centre facility's capacity ranges from 5,000 to 60,000 for sports events, concerts, family shows, trade shows and conventions. It is one of the busiest venues in the world. A unique feature of the Rogers Centre is its Video Board, one of the world's largest, measuring 110 feet wide by 33 feet high - bringing everyone even closer to the action.
The facility is a model for architects of future domed stadiums currently being built around the world. Rogers Centre has been asked to share information about its architecture, events and business plans with numerous city planners, architects and government officials from the U.S., Netherlands, England, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China and Germany.
FUN FACTS:
Since opening, the number of hot dogs served at Rogers Centre would stretch close to 800 kilometers.
There are a total of 88 washrooms throughout the Rogers Centre facility.
Rogers Centre is the only facility in the world to wash 37,000 seats in addition to all areas of the stadium after each event. It takes 14 people 8 hours to complete.
The entire Rogers Centre development is 12.7 acres (5.14 hectares) . Volume inside with roof closed - 56.5 million cubic feet (1.6 million cubic meters) . The building itself is 11.5 acres (4.66 hectares) .
The roof covers 8 acres (3.2 hectares) and is made up of 4 sections which open in a smooth, circular motion. The roof rises to a height of 86 meters (282 feet), high enough for a 31 story building at center field with the roof closed. The roof opens or closes in 20 minutes.
The seating at full capacity is: 65,673
In 1992, Rogers Centre set the World Record for the greatest number of Hot Air Balloons in an enclosed area -- 46 inflated Hot Air Balloons on the field!
